We are very pleased with this mattress protector. They work well on our split bed. The surface toward the sheets is a sort of terry cloth. It makes them comfortable and soft. Keeps from sweating against the waterproof lower layer. We have been using them for a month and are happy with them.

By Catherine Mostly
I used to sell these in a mattress store I worked at - because they WORKED! They really do breathe. Some customers who 'naturally slept hot' had issues with them once in awhile. But the advantage of having this kind of protection on your mattress vs none - get a fan or something, if you have heat issues. Most people sleep comfortably on them and they are THIN, so they don't change the feel of your mattress very much. My advice is to not dry them in the dryer even though the package says you can. The backing will wear thin sooner. Spin it in the air cycle for awhile and let hang dry.
