Had this bedset for about six months now. At first I thought we were going to take it back, it is made of a corduroy-ish material, attracted soooo much static! We would literally light up under the covers if we pulled it off of us in the middle of the night - a streak of blue from the static would light the immediate area. I hated it. After washing it a few times however, and drying it on the static reducer cycle, we FINALLY have it under control. I'm glad too - it is a gorgeous comforter set. Everyone that has been in my bedroom has complimented it. Get a dark brown sheet set and it looks great! Just BEWARE the static until you wash it several times. Also beware that it is pretty dang thick - too thick for summer, but I loved it during the winter!

I'm so glad I bought this comforter set. The colors match my room perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised that the beige is a lot darker in person than in the images (you could probably call it tan). The comforter is extremely soft and fluffy. I haven't had any issues with static, but that's only a minor problem if you do.If you're looking for a matching set of sheets, I highly recommend getting these brown ones as they go great together: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013EANZE

ok - we hated our bed. had a mattress and a box spring hated it. My boyfriend has a herniated disk in his lower spine and read that Japanese mattress are the best for body support. he bought one of these in a twin size and was sleeping on the floor for years - well I wanted him back in the bed so I shoved out about $1000 for this whole set:Platform bed: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015VG0R0/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00GREAT quality, NOT particle board real wood real quality.2: Tatami mats: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WK745M/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00these were to most expensive part and they are truly heavy and made of great quality materials.2: 3 inch thick Japanese pads http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009EEMH3Q/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00We wanted extra soft but support so two was perfect.Comforter set: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005J3ODVK/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00soooo warm, soft, pretty and great quality.we also have a 4 inch thick memory foam pad under the pads - we just had it around and figured we would use it.This whole set is amazing. AND the mattresses work great with regular queen size sheets. It looks like a real bed but so much better. We even take our mattress pad with us when we sleep over other places.ALSO: GREAT NOTE the bed is extremely quiet and sturdy. when someone rolls over gets up or jumps on it you can't hear anything or feel anything! its...again...amazing!
