Our motorhome came with the typical RV mattress...awful. We tried to make do with it, but our last vacation convinced us...time to buy a decent mattress. Like most RV furnishings the sizing of RV mattresses is NOT standard. Our "king size" bed is 4" narrower than a standard king-size bed. I scoured the internet for solutions, from custom-made to foam that could be cut to fit. I checked Amazon where I found a mattress the exact size we need, and made with memory foam construction. Best of all the price is right, and the free shipping doesn't hurt! Now for the mattress. It arrived very well packaged, tightly rolled into a large cardboard box. The box is 80" long, so don't freak out when you see it. The mattress is heavy; it took two of us to carry it into the motorhome. We laid the mattress on the bed platform and CAREFULLY cut away the "shrink-wrap" plastic and unrolled the foam. Immediately the mattress began fluffing up and laying flat. Within a few hours it had expanded to the 8" thickness and best of all...a PERFECT FIT which is critical in an RV where space is at a premium. The mattress is slightly firm but has very good support. Mattresses are definitely a "personal preference," but this one is comparable in feel to much more expensive mattresses. We are extremely pleased with the quality and value of this MADE IN THE USA mattress! I can't comment about how it will hold up over time, but for now it is a winner! Very pleased and highly recommended.

I'm a big person- I'm 6'2 and I weigh 270 lbs. I use a Sleep Number bed at home but couldn't justify the cost of one for our travel trailer, which we use about 30 nights a year. The stock mattress felt like it was made of lasagna noodles mixed with concrete. This one is great! It is very comfortable, I don't bottom out on my hips when I sleep on my side, and it is not overly hot like a lot of memory foam mattresses. I just wish I'd gotten it sooner. It was packaged in a long cardboard box, shrinkwrapped in a tube. It was easy to move and put down, and once it was unrolled and out of the plastic it expanded to full thickness in about 6 hours. After a day it has no noticeable odor.

We purchased an RV with it's standard short queen mattress. We used it....I won't say slept on it because you certainly couldn't sleep on it.....for 3 or 4 long weekends. We knew we had to get some sleep on our recent 2 week RVing adventure and did quite a bit of research before purchasing this mattress. I don't think I've ever been so happy with a mattress! It was easy to get into the RV with a bit of help from my neighbor. We cut the plastic open and it just rolled out on to the base and began to 'puff up'. I left to air out for about a week before our trip just to be safe. It's quite firm but somehow soft and comfy at the same time. For anyone that has back problems, this mattress is a gem. We especially like that when one of us moves or rolls over or gets out of bed, the other cannot feel it. The bedroom is now the preferred TV watching venue :) I'd recommend it to any RVer or I think it would be great on the floor for a dorm room although a bit difficult to move around.
