The Sycamore headboard captures the wonder of the fleeting summer season. A unique pattern of leaves is forever frozen in space along the headboard and footboard, whirling from an invisible wind. Fence-like posts stand erect, stopping the leaves from cascading to the ground. The arched headboard gently curves up and then back down again. I've been looking for the perfect headboard for years. The ones I found were all ridiculously expensive. Finally, I checked on Amazon and there it was! Pretty, very fairly priced and delivered to my door! It's sturdy and attractive; I love it! Cindy

Headboard is very nice. Sturdy. Was packaged well & all the parts were there. The color appears somewhat like pewter in the photos however and it is actually much darker, with a hammered finish.

I'm rating this 4 stars (vs. 5) mainly because of assemble issues (see below), but as far as sturdiness, visual appeal, etc, it's really nice. I ordered a double size, head board only.Came with all the parts - YEAH! Always nice when you aren't missing somethingLooks good - looks great in my guest room...do recommend you don't put it right up against the wall...for obviouse reasons :)Some damage to package during shipping - the box had some damage when it got here, but nothing that effected the contents...although it was enough damage to make me wonder.Annoying sticker - the stickers they used to label pieces weren't kinds that easily came off...on one piece I just left it because it wasn't worth trying to scrap or clean it off by that point and it was in a spot that wouldn't be visible.Assembly sucks - I didn't like the instructions - they weren't very clear, IMO, like how to tell the front vs. back, left vs. right - the pictures didn't show the pre-drilled holes accurately. The holes were just enough off to make assembly very tight, plus they didn't tell you do this step first this step second, etc. This makes a difference. I had to 1/2 way unassemble it because it was obviouse I needed to do something else (adding the feet) before I put it on the frame. But because the instructions were strickly a graphic depiction...you have no way of knowing that. Then when it came time for me to put the feet on...I eneded up having to grab a heavy duty rubber mallet from husband's garage to get them in, it was such a tight fit. All that said...I got it together and it looks great in my guest room.
