I ordered this in red. I'd been looking for a toile bedspread and was excited to receive this as the design was everything I'd been looking for. The pattern is lovely. That is the only lovely thing about this. The fabric is awful. It reminds me of something that you'd find at kmart for $19.99. It's scratchy and feelts like something you'd find in a cheep motel. I honestly don't know how they got the corner to fold over in the picture. The thing doesn't even lay over my body. When I crawled into bed and pulled it over me, it was like sleeping inside of a low hanging tent! Needless to say, it will be going into the guest room. Until guests come over, that is. Would never force even the most unwanted of guests to sleep under this.

I bought this as a spare comforter for my bed. I am impressed. It has great loft, the pattern is pretty, and it is well made.

I have this Victoria Park Toile in black as my shower curtain and valence in my bathroom. I decided to get the comforter, shams, Euro shams, throw pillows--the whole deal. If you are looking for a "comforter", you will hate this item. I have had nice down comforters that are warm, soft, lightweight and cozy. This is extremely stiff, almost a burlap feeling material. The fill seems cheap, but it has decent loft for appearance sake. I got it as a bedspread, to give a finished look to my bedroom. However i fold this down at the foot of the bed each night and never sleep under it. I have soft and comfortable blankets i purchased when i realized this was not a comforter i would ever sleep under.My other "complaint" is that the reverse of it is cream. Even the Victoria Park Toile throw pillows have black / cream check on the reverse. Why can't this reverse to check? It would look much nicer when folded down.
