It's more of a dark brown than anything else, and has very slight hints of gold that are barely noticeable. I'm disappointed and not sure if I'll keep it. It's made of a hollow metal and fairly light weight. The paint job is okay, could be better. Easy to set up. Delivery and packaging were excellent.
