I was worried at first that it wouldn't hold up to our four cats who all have back claws. Our bed is on risers and is quite high and so far we've had no snags at all in the three months we have owned this set. With my last set I ordered a King for my Queen bed as I prefer not to fight over the blankets and a size larger gives both of us lots of coverage. With this set I shouldn't have done that as it is oversized already. If you put it on your bed you will have plenty of cover for both people. I'd say it fits as pictured. This was a HUGE BARGAIN, 14 pieces for around $150, when I paid $350 for my last set with only shams and skirt added so I am very happy with this set. It was nice to have the decorative pillows. In face I had to take the Euro pillows and use them on my sofas down stairs as there was simply no room for them on the bed with our regular pillows added in the mix. So that was a nice bonus, we use them to lay on and watch tv, they are super soft and comfy. The comforter is gorgeous! I still just sit and look at it sometimes, its well made and the fabric on the underside is just velvety soft. Im so glad I decided on this set!! The underside is a camel color, goldish tan, so it matched the sheets I already had, bonus!

Used the extra pillows (there's a bunch) to decorate my living room, as the old pillows were getting a little dingy!! And the bedspread and pillows in the bedroom are really beautiful. And the bedspread has a nice light feel to it. Lovely.

I recently bought a new King bedroom set and went to a local store to buy either a duvet or a comforter. I found one I liked and purchased it. When I got it home, I discovered it wasn't wide enough to hide the entire mattress. I went back, and couldn't find anything wider. So, I did what I should have done in the first place and went to Amazon. My search led me to the Paramount Crawford set I eventually ordered. I was expecting a comforter and a couple of pillow shams and perhaps a couple of pillows. What I received instead boggled my mind. I now have a beautiful comforter, with piping down the sides so I know when it's on straight, a bed skirt (which I don't use), 3 standard-sized pillow shams, 3 european pillows and shams, 3 other smaller pillows. Yep, you read correctly: a 14-piece set. The decorative pillows have piping and little tassels on them. That, coupled with the quality of the eitire set, makes the whole package look luxurious. I did a lot of research and absolutely did not find anything close for the price. I highly recommend this set.
