I purchased this set August 13, 2012. Now it's October 17, 2012. I purposely have waited before giving a review on this wanting to see how it held up. When I got it I immediately took it and had it dry cleaned before ever putting it on the bed. I didn't feel it was dirty but washing or having something cleaned before I use or wear it if it's clothes is something I've always done. This comforter is very well made. The material on the under side could be thicker. Someone that has a cat, it's claws may make little holes or tears with their claws on the material on the underside of this comforter but should not be any problem at all on the material on the top because it's a lot heavier material. We live in Houston, Texas area and it's pretty warm at night in the summer and we run a/c about 76 degrees and I sometimes get too warm with this comforter and have to throw it back during the night. But my husband says it's just right for him. We have two dogs (rat terrier) that jump and down off the bed all day long and the comforter is holding up well and there are no snags or tears which would be evident by now if it is going to happen. There is stitching here and there that is there to hold the stuffing in place and material puckers in these areas with the dogs romping on the bed like they do. No big deal, easy enough to smooth out. Could have been our monitor when viewing the picture of this comforter online I thought the dominent color was dark rusty red but when it got here it's more brown than it is red. But it could be that our walls are tan and that is making it look more brown. Over-all very pleased with this purchase and I couldn't beat the price of $167.45 for king comforter set including shipping. Whole transaction went flawlessly from placing order and until recieved and I add that it arrived two days before I expected it. Thank you.

This product looked good in the ad. In person it was wonderful. The colors and pattern was just what we wanted. Then we put it on the bed. It started out lumpy, and then it got worse. It was not properly sewn. The batting was cheap and kept shifting around.it is now a series of lumps surronded by a very nice cover. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Will not do business with this company again.

The pattern is very pretty and I like that a lot. Honestly, don't know if the one I got is defective or if they all are like this, but there is stiching through part of the comforter, but not all causing it to bunch in places I'd like it to lay smooth. The cotton inside also seems to shift which makes folding by headboard down not a smooth looking. I should have paid $200 extra for real quality.
