I bought a hard bed that leaves me stiff and sore in the morning. The bed itself was a mistake I made some time ago but I couldn't afford to throw it away and buy a softer one for anywhere from $500 on up so after putting up with it for a month or two, I started to look at toppers. This one jumped out at me because the price was right and because it was all natural (I am sensitive and sometimes allergic to synthetics, especially when they are next to my skin). Then again, I'd never slept on latex before, so it was a bit of a gamble. When I first opened it up and lay down, I gave a deep sigh. This stuff was so comfortable and soft (!) yet it didn't give so much that I felt I was about to sink straight thru to the floor. So far so good, I thought. Then I slept on it--straight through the night--and didn't have any of my usual stiffness--though I have to say it took me a little while because I simply went about my morning without feeling sore before I remembered how I usually felt after sleeping on just the mattress itself. What a great realization THAT was!So I am pretty well sold on it. Basically, it gave me a good night's sleep, saved me a bundle of money and was all natural, to boot. Hopefully, this experience will continue night after night, but at this point I don't see why it shouldn't.You may be able to get by with the 2" instead of the 3", depending on how firm the mattress is underneath. My shoulders (I'm a side-sleeper) need as much 'give' as possible so I don't get too sore on one side and have to shift sides too often.

I do many things right but uninterrupted sleep is not one of them. Goodness, I've tried everything; from water to air to memory foam beds; from firm to plush to layered. For a month now, this product has made a huge difference in my sleeping longer and deeper and in my waking up with considerably less chronic back stiffness. It seems to hit the Golden Mean, supportive yet comfy.I'm a teacher and have little margin of error in the day to get my mind and body up and running to the challenge of facing homeroom and then five classes of often rambunctious teenagers. Not incessantly tossing and turning during the night is an educator's godsend as my energy level and attitude have soared at school.I recommend the product to anybody who suffers muscle stiffness or has trouble getting a full night's sleep. If you're like me, it gets tiresome and pricey trying new beds. This topper was the perfect Christmas present from my wife. It, like her, is a keeper.

I bought this mattress topper because my current bed by itself is way too firm. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new full size bed, so I thought I'd try putting a topper on it. I'm happy to say that it has worked out very well. The latex topper is very comfortable and didn't require any adjustment period for me, it was good right from the first night. I'd even say that the combo of the firm mattress and this topper is the best sleep surface I can remember ever using. It has both good support and the right amount of cushioning and softness.It is made of natural latex, so there is the added bonus of sleeping on a surface which is made of a natural material. Natural latex has much less smell than memory foam and will not be giving off toxic chemicals. I aired it out for a day (probably not really necessary but I'm picky on this issue), and after that smell was not an issue. Natural latex has less smell than synthetic latex so I'd recommend sticking with the natural. Also it does not sleep 'hot'; I've found that memory foam seems to cause some heat buildup when I've tried it, but natural latex stays cool.So I highly recommend this product for those in a similar boat. Since my bed is very firm I bought the 3 inch thick model; those whose bed is too firm, but to a lesser degree, could consider the thinner 2 inch model. Another factor is, side sleepers might prefer the softer 3 inch model. For those who may have questions on this, I'll mention that the company's sales rep I talked to was a big help.
